Today we are exploring the Okanagan by shopping!  It's Christmas time and I am sure many of you are looking for that perfect gift for that special person in your life.  I have gone on a bit of a spree and decided to share my top 5 gifts for giving, all from the Okanagan.

Budget is always an issue so we have a range of ideas for you that will make that special someone feel extra-special this year on any budget.

Time is the most precious gift we can give anyone and the older I get, the more I realize this. Showing appreciation and love is right up there too so let's see what we have to work wth here.

#5 - How about a bit of adventure this winter at a crystal filled place with a spa, top rated restaurant, hiking trails out the door, an infinity pool, beautful views and 10 relaxing steam rooms included with your stay? Yes, we are sparkling at the Sparkling Hill Resort just outside of Vernon, BC!

Did you know that Sparkling Hill offers local rates for us Okanagan folks? Also, their off-season months are discounted so you can get a great deal for your stay.  Sign up for their newsletter and you'll get their monthly deal rigth to your inbox to plan your stay. The staff are also quite awesome about surprises so no one will find out your secret gift.

This gift price range will be close to $300. Check it out here at Sparkling Hill.

#4 - Living in the Okanagan we are surrounded by wine and food. I am such a foodie and trying new food at the best restaurants is my jam! There are so many places to choose from and a romantic dinner is just what we all need but giving a gift certificate to a restaurant isn't too romantic. Why not enhance your home meals with some delectabe oils and vinegars for that gorgeous charcuterie you're going to make pre-christmas dinner?

Candlelight dinners are much more romantic. Olive Us is a very nice gift which is thoughtful and let's you spend quality time. They are my go-to for client baskets and dinner parties! We use these in so many different combinations and they are a great addition to any kitchen! Right now I am obsessed with Persian Lime olive oil mixed with a white grapefruit balsamic. Yum!

The gift of oil and vinegar from Olive Us start around $10 so you can put a few combos together. They have two locations. One in Lake Country and one in Vernon. Check it out here at Olive Us.

#3 - Who doesnt loooove chocolate? KARAT Chocolates is a wonderful shop full of delectable treats that will brighten anyones day. With the gorgeous designs anyone recieving the smallest box of these chocolates will be absolutely delighted!

KARAT chocolate seasonal collection is $25 and you can get it here. Check out the KARAT store in Kelowna here.

#2 - The gift of a show! I know I have been drawn to live performaces all of my life and dinner and a show is a wondeul gift for anyone. Plus, maybe they'll offer to take you? ;)

Tha Actors Studio is a wonderful place to go out and have a great time. They have constant new shows and a line up that kills it every time. With their dinner and a show combo youre supporting local and we love that around the Okanagan.

Dinner and a show will cost around $150-$200.

Check out the Actors Studio and get your tickets today!

#1 - Our final Okanagan splendor is clothing + accesories and we could not leave it to one place for purchases! There are so many favorite Okanagan shops and brands I love so here is a good list of hot spots to get that special someone a gift this year!
